Handy in the real world manipulation of objects and events, you are easily enthused by practical projects. You often ignore or conveniently forget rules and boundaries that limit your freedom. This need for freedom extends even to the personal sphere and though you are kind and gentle, you will often be hard to pin down to a monogamous lifestyle. Because you tend to verbalize so seldom, you can be seen as phlegmatic or impassive. In moments of high tension you can often surprise those around you with a lighthearted or humorous remark. Because of your facility with the physical world, you are often engaged in sports that require dexterity, such as motorcycling or hang gliding. You will rarely have time for flights of fancy or unproductive discussion. Constraints on your freedom will be regarded as a personal attack.
((This is mine:
Your power comes from an ability to sense how things might be and to proclaim this possibility with a great force and willingness to act. You have a tendency to be romantic, and can be an idealist. This sense of how the world can be is often expressed with self-deprecatory humor. Because of your need to address the immediacy of the moment, you may not think things through to their logical end, relying instead on a feeling for how a situation SHOULD end. You need to be liked and appreciated by others, although your attention often wanders. Sometimes you neglect old friends in favor of a new or exciting acquaintance. You have a real difficulty being alone. Often you will seem to know how to handle a situation without exactly knowing HOW you know this. Your thoughts are often shallow. While in the excitement of the moment you can obsess about a task at hand. If it should become rote and unexciting, however, it can be dropped just as quickly.
Pretty accurate I’d say.))
The results I’ve got:
You have a poetic sensibility and an ability to see beyond the day to day. You often seem to be living in a higher realm, or to be not-of-this-earth. Occasionally you imagine interior lives for friends and associates that are near-complete fabrications based on your fears and hopes for the future. You are often not aware of your own feelings. You have a strong sense of right and wrong, and because of this are often disappointed. Despite what can sometimes be a destructive inward-turning anger, you are very gentle. You are sometimes a bit out of touch with the ebb and flow of modern life. If your behavior is out of synch with your moral values, a severe psychic disturbance can result. Because connectivity is important to you, you can become quiet and sulky if you feel that others around do not understand your point of view.
I know that more often than not, these things are usually from a limited database collection, so chances and probability of slight and near-complete inaccuracies in calculation and results do tend to happen, so it’s not exactly 100% dependable on using as a self-measurement tool, but still….
…it’s freaky how accurate the above results are O_O.
Well, if I had the actual video, I would make gifs, believe me lol I would blow up the Phantom tags :) All I can do is photo edits :/ (which is better than nothing) And what I mean by his way of saying 'can't' is that it sounds more American than his natural accent. It always sticks out to me.
Ah, but it’s that exactly that I find endearing, unfortunately (for me, at least!). It’s a given, though, since the rest of the cast were Americans, and the TV station was also in the U.S., if I recall correctly - perhaps he changed that part a little just to suit in, though it may come off as unusual to some. Either way, the way he articulates his words on the whole was just nice; perhaps he was going for an accent-free English? I didn’t mind accents much - love them all the more actually, but sometimes I come across people or actors/actresses who manage to speak accent-free, which I like all the same.
(Just in case if you’re curious, I’m a Malaysian, and some friends told me that I speak like an American (Malaysian-accent-free), yet whenever I watch shows, I can nearly always point out whether it’s a German, Latino, Norwegian, English, Scottish, Irish, American, Italian, etc., so my advantage is that I can watch shows without needing subtitles as compared to my friends here.)
You might remember me. Just yesterday I made a seriously vague post that may have offended a number of people:
I’m so tempted to make a Marluxia RP blog.
I’ve been seeing the same Marluxias, all people who ship 4/11 and all..well of course they’re different in one way or the…
Ed, why on earth do you have to apologize for this for?! This is your liberty, your prerogative, your perfect legal right, something that no law of man gives shit about. Meaning: so what?
So you’d love a hetero Marluxia - then what’s the problem? The squawking farce raised by other fans who maintained to death that no matter what he’s always gay (to them)? Did Nomura-sama said, in any definite way, that Marluxia is so? Yes (interview, article, pics, source, or else it didn’t happen, fellas - no fucked up fanmade/unofficial/pssh-whatev headcanon)? No? Then who’s to say what Marluxia is specifically? If he’s much in the obscure in regards of his sexuality, then what’s the problem if one fan believes that he’s hetero/homo/bi/pan/cis/trans/whatever? Since Nomura-sama didn’t give anything definite about it, why on earth should any one else of whom Marluxia is NOT their intellectual property/right? What gives them that definitive say?
You’re ranting, I’m ranting, because above all, this whole farce is pointless, and you should NEVER, NEVER, NEVER have to apologize about it in the first place. Nomura-sama didn’t give anything definite, so just as fans have much liberty of freedom to cast Marluxia in the light of being a homosexual, so do other fans have that much same right to cast him in the light of being a hetero. Sexual liberty is something that one can stand up for if you so please, but to the extent of creating a ridiculous outrage such as this (them, Ed, not you), what a paradox it becomes, when in standing up for one’s freedom of speech, you impinge and oppress upon someone else’s freedom of thought. Mutual respect, y’all, please.
